This information applies to WebSphere MQ for Windows only.
WebSphere MQ for Windows provides an administration interface called the WebSphere MQ Explorer to perform administration tasks as an alternative to using control or MQSC commands. Appendix E, "Comparing command sets" shows you what you can do using the WebSphere MQ Explorer.
The WebSphere MQ Explorer allows you to perform remote administration of your network from a computer running a Windows system by pointing the WebSphere MQ Explorer at the queue managers and clusters you are interested in. The platforms and levels of WebSphere MQ that can be administered using the WebSphere MQ Explorer are described in "Prerequisite software".
To configure remote WebSphere MQ queue managers so that WebSphere MQ Explorer can administer them, see "Required definitions for administration".
